Experienced Emergency Veterinarians

We currently offer six specialty and referral services which include emergency, surgery, neurology, internal medicine, and rehabilitation. We are currently seeking experienced emergency veterinarians for full time and part time positions to join our 24/7 emergency team.

Ideal candidates are looking for a collaborative team environment that provides exceptional patient care and excellent client service. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of 1-2 years’ emergency medicine experience and proficiency with emergency surgery and procedures. Duties include developing diagnostic/treatment plans for emergency cases and care of hospitalized referral service patients. Our newly renovated facility includes an in-house blood bank, digital radiography, ultrasound and an extensive in-house laboratory including CBC, chemistry, coagulation, blood gases and more. Our emergency veterinarians frequently consult with our team of board certified specialists in surgery, neurology and internal medicine.

Our hospital offers flexible scheduling including days, nights, and weekend shifts so a work life balance can be achieved and to allow you to enjoy all that London has to offer. No more than 12-14 shifts per month are required for full time veterinarians.

London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital is pleased to provide Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, and Rehabilitation services as well as 24 hour Emergency Care to the Greater London area and Southwestern Ontario.

Major Responsibilities will include: Patient Care – Safe restraint of patients for procedures performed by technicians and veterinarians, care of hospitalized patients including exercise, cage cleaning, providing food and water for the patients, observation of patients for changes in behaviour or symptoms, cleaning and grooming of patients when necessary, compassionate non-medically relevant interactions with patients when time permits.
