When a pet is ill or injured, we understand that for many people financing is not your main concern. As a pet owner, you want the best possible treatment for your pet in their time of need.
At the London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital, our veterinarians will provide you with a detailed treatment plan for looking after your pet, including a cost estimate for his or her condition.
For a pet being admitted into Hospital for surgery, emergency or critical care, we require a 75% deposit of the estimate at the time of admission with the remainder of services paid in full at the time of discharge. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit and cash.
Please be assured that we will keep you informed and updated on all charges during your pet’s hospitalization.
While we do not offer payment plans for services, we do accept payment from Medicard and Health Smart Financial Services, which are financial companies that assists pet owners by providing financing for veterinary fees. Financing applications must be completed, and financing approved prior to a patient’s admission to the surgical department. Clients requiring financing for emergency services may complete the application upon admission. Please note a financing fee may apply.
We routinely work with a number of pet insurance companies who provide coverage for medical, surgical and emergency procedures. Some insurance companies also provide coverage for rehabilitation therapy. Please check with your insurance company to confirm that the recommended procedures and therapies are covered under your plan. If your pet has insurance coverage, please inform our receptionist upon your arrival and a claim form will be completed for your pet and returned to you. All fees must be paid at the time of discharge unless special arrangements have been made with your insurance company.
